Setting up the project for automatic renders
The Movie Render Queue is utilized to enable automatic rendering within the project.
Configure the following render settings.
- Spatial Sample Count: Number of spatial samples per pixel to improve image quality.
- Temporal Sample Count: Number of temporal samples for motion and lighting smoothing.
- Override Anti Aliasing: Allows manual control of the anti-aliasing method.
- Anti Aliasing Method: Specifies the anti-aliasing technique to use.
- Use Camera Cut for Warm Up: Enables camera cuts during the warm-up phase.
- Render Warm Up Frames: Toggles rendering of warm-up frames before capture.
- Render Warm Up Count: Sets how many frames to render for warm-up.
- Engine Warm Up Count: Sets the number of frames to run the engine before actual rendering.
- Tile Resolution: Specifies the resolution of each render tile.
- Enable PathTracing: Toggles the use of high-fidelity path tracing for rendering.
Configuring Ray-Tracing
In order to activate automatic ray tracing rendering, you need to initially configure the following project settings as prerequisites, which only need to be done once for the entire project.
Configure project settings to look like the image below. Turn on Path Tracing from the Render Settings panel.
Configuring output
FFMPEG setup is now fully automated—it downloads the required library, sets up paths, and applies the correct parameters when the project is first launched with the Emperia Toolkit installed and active on the latest plugin versions.
