ADDING PRODUCTS
Products define an ‘area’ where a user can click on. It’s a great use case if you have some large area that needs to be clickable, but it does not need any media assets assigned to it.

Steps
- Open the "Place Actors" tab and go to "Emperia Interactables.”
- Drag and drop the "Product" type into the scene.
- Scale up the the cube to your liking - the bigger the cube, the bigger the click area!
- Toggle
Always Face Camera
on theProduct
to ensure that the click area is always the same size , from all angles. You can access these options from the details tab.
Turntable Feature
The turntable feature in the plugin allows you to create an image sequence of a product mesh based on specified angle intervals. This sequence can later be utilized in web applications to implement a turntable feature, showcasing the product from different angles.
Prerequisite for Turntable Rendering Feature:
To use the turntable rendering feature, ensure that the product has a Click Type Action Model attached to it, and that the Content type of the action model is set to PDP. This prerequisite must be met before using the turntable rendering feature.
(Note: When using the turntable feature, set "Enable Alpha Channel Support in Post Processing" to "Allow Through Tone Mapper" under Project Settings -> Rendering to render the turntable sheet without a background. After using this feature, you may want to turn it off as it is 30% more cost-efficient than normal rendering.)
Usage:
- Selecting the Mesh:
- Under the "Quick Stitch Interactable Turntable Mesh" option, choose the mesh you want to render. This action will open a menu.
- Setting Rendering Options:
- In the menu, select the number of frames you wish to render from the dropdown menu.
- Additionally, select the cube map texture used in the skylight and adjust the skylight intensity as desired.
- Adjust the camera distance from the product using the slider, which determines the space the product occupies in each frame.
- Set the initial rotation of the product using the Product Rotation slider.
- Define the camera's tilt angle using the drop-down menu, where zero represents a straight view, 90 represents a top-down view, and intermediate values are angles between the two.
- You can select from three camera configurations for rendering: Standard, Orthographic, and Cine camera.
- You can preview the first frame and adjust the camera distance, camera angle, and initial product rotation using this feature. To see the preview, click the "Show Preview" button.
- Initiating Rendering:
- Once the options are set, click on the "Render Turntable Sequence" button to start the rendering process.
- Rendering Process:
- The rendering process captures individual frames of the mesh.
- It then stitches these frames into a sprite sheet.
- Finally, it uploads the sprite sheet to the server.
- Integration with PDP Model:
- The URL of the uploaded sprite sheet is then populated to the Product Detail Page (PDP) model.
- This URL is used in a Click Type Action Model attached to the product.
