Analytics
This page describes how you can utilize the tools within Emperia 3D Kit to enhance the analytics and the data that gets reported to the client.
Interactable Component
Most IC (Emperia 3D Kit Interactable Components) has analytics tracking built in. ICs that have the type of Navigation
, Product
, Text
, and Clickable
have tracking enabled on them automatically, and you do not need to do anything. Please note they use the Description
field on the components, so it is crucial that the field is filled in and has very clear naming.
Rooms
To understand where in the space are actions happening, certain areas of the 3D environment are defined in ‘Rooms’. These ‘Rooms’ are essentially bounding boxes, which also let you define a name for a specific room.
Properties
Name | Values | Usage |
ID | Read-Only | Unique ID of the object. |
Name | String | A human-readable name will be used for reporting. Example: ‘Beauty & Accessories’, ‘Fragrance Room’. |
Room objects get defined by setting the room name, for example, ‘Beauty & Accessories’, defining the extent of that room, so it would encompass all the elements that are inside the Room. These Room objects are crucial for clarity when it comes to Analytics and tracking where events & actions happen.
